Stanford university is a great college. I love how it helps out with malnutrition. The Stanford physicians work to protect childrens help in Guatemala

I think that attending any name college is something that everyone wants for themselves. The major roadblock is getting into these colleges. Therein lies the conspiracy. Often times, colleges look for a certain type of applicant. That applicant has: a good SAT and ACT score–achieved with hours of private tutoring or buying prep books– great extracurriculars (which are achieved with mommy and daddy’s money to fund non-profits that wow admission officers) and overall good grades and good standing in school. These cannot be achieved by the low-income student who does not have the necessary money to succeed in even qualifying as an applicant. Some say that colleges are “need blind” but that is complete cow-poop. Applicants need good SAT scores, SAT scores come with tutoring and prep books. Thus it is impossible to be “need blind” in colleges.
