The underestimated AA degree can be stronger career payoff than a standard BA and MA degree without any student loan debt. Saving-the-Associate-of-Arts-Degree produced by the good people at the American Enterprise Institute and Glassdoor.com have released a fresh research report on the underestimated AA degree and demonstrate that an AA degree in conjunction with skills such as coding, programming or social media will render you far more valuable over the traditional liberal arts AA degree. I recall completing my AA degree but we are talking pre-internet days then transferring to a 4 year university yet I felt there was something lacking from all those days spent listening to lectures and taking written tests there was no emphasis on skills or career guidance. Mike Rowe who has several college degrees hit it out of the park on the college degree.
