Contradictory research from the people at Georgetown Center on Education and Workforce but safe to say vocational one year degree programs such as plumbing, electricians etc and technical certificates will outearn liberal arts and humanities except the STEM fields such as engineering where pay exceeds many traditional college degrees. With student loan debt approaching $1.5 TRILLION select a field that pays the bills yet allows you to pursue your hobby on the side. You can read history, philosophy, sociology or any number of subjects without going into debt or un/underemployed and be considered “educated” I think of the many educated people I have met from no name to prestigious universities who have faded into oblivion ashamed they could cannot succeed with their name brand universities yet I meet millionaire mechanics others with certificates achieving their dreams without depressing student loan debt. 👨🎓👩🏽🎓 💲💲
