Jenine Cadlaon says
High school GPA is very important because it can predict your outcome in college and how you will do. College is very important to have a successful career when you graduate college. Those who were bullied have a lower percentage to graduate college and high school.
fpayan says
Thank you for the superior work and writing. Detailed and specific.
Jorge ruiz says
This an important video because identifies how important high school. It your beginning of a future your diploma is you ticket for your future. High school is a refelection on what you see yourself doing later on in life
fpayan says
Awesome answer and work I am sure of your future success.
Anayeli Sepulveda says
It was really helpful.I found a lot of information that i can use during college. Most of the information i already knew i found it in a book.I think that this video will really help other students in the future.
fpayan says
Thank you for your answer and sharing your knowledge about college.
Roberto Cobiellas says
I’m not a fan of statistics. In addition, I don’t agree with these reporters. I know many people that either didn’t go to college or passed college after getting low grades in high school. The fact that the reporters in the video said that you won’t make as much money without going to college is false in most cases. Trades such as welding or automotive pay big bucks so long as you get certified.
fpayan says
Plumbers, auto mechanics plenty of other fields that require a certification will get you a high paycheck.
Natalie Delmolin says
I agree that we need our diploma to succeed in our careers. In this video it talks about the grade point average and the competition to get into college. The way to succeed into college is to not slack off in high school because it will catch to you.
fpayan says
Super answer and writing you know what it takes to get into college.
Kendrick says
I don’t believe your GPA predicts how likely it is that you’ll go to college. I think everyone is different and telling someone how likely it is that they’ll graduate from college is not a good thing. If you do tell someone that it’s not likely for them to graduate from college then they’ll go into a college with a bad mindset.
fpayan says
That’s the attitude. Great writing and work.
Jazzmine Cobian says
i dont agree with these reporters because, i beleive that people who had a bad GPA it wont reflect in how good they are going to do in college. I think everyone is different and telling someone how likely it is that they’ll graduate from college is not a good thing. So yeah thats in what i believe about this report.
Jazzmine Cobian says
I also believe that our high school diplomas are worth millions of dollars in the sense that with our diploma we can get jobs to earn money. Our high school grade point average, I believe, does not affect our outcome in life.
fpayan says
Awesome bold answer there are plenty of successful people with mediocre gpas.
Clalista Atienza says
This video tells you how school is important. It tells you how you need a high GPA to get in college and be successful in college. Former students in high school who achieved a GPA of 3.5 and above tend to do better in college and get accepted more. Also, a fact that I learned is people who got bullied score 8 to 10.
fpayan says
Superior work and writing you understand what is takes to get into a good college.
elizabeth medina says
I think this video is interesting. I think the part where it shows the average scores based on the high school GPAS is interesting.
fpayan says
Super work thank you for your participation.
jaedyn says
The video is about gpa’s and how bully’s can bring your test scores down by like 2 points are so which is not really a big deal. It was also talking about how we need good grades and a good gpa to do to a good college. It also says slacking of is not a good thing to do in highschool.
fpayan says
Superior work and writing you do not sound like a slacker.
sara corrales says
I feel like this video was really informative. It’s an important video if very informative about how important high school is and and how it is the beginning of your future. it tells about problems in school such as bullying and how bullyied students tend to score less on tests about 8-10 score/points lower. If you slack off in high school it is most likely to catch up to you in the future.
fpayan says
Superb answer with detail and examples.
Healani Barbee says
This video was informative and came to the conclusion that the higher the GPA’s students graduate from highschool the more likely they’ll graduate from college. This can also eventually lead to an increase of earnings. Moreover, students that have been bullied are more likely to have a poor performance in school.
fpayan says
Organized answer with specific detail.
Dario says
This is a good video because it actually makes sense and sounds legit. By that I mean I have never gotten bullied, but when it talks about victims not achieving as much as they should it adds up. There is an action that is holding them back. Also with the grades it’s the same because grades show your determination in school. If you’re failing many subjects it can just mean you’re not really trying as hard as the person who has straight A’s. So, the people who actually strive to get higher grades actually have a higher percentage to get a BA.
fpayan says
Impressive college level answer! Move forward.
Youstina Labib says
I found the video very helpful because it really displays the true significance and importance of recieving an education and how it benefits ones future. I liked how they included graphs that shows you the graducation rates of the different students G.P.As. It was also very beneficial to keep this in mind when having to strive for success in the future, knowing that I want to do my hardest in school that way success has a position for me in the future.
fpayan says
Excellent answer and confidence in yourself to move forward with your education.
Andy Vega says
After watching the video, I realized that I slack off a lot and I need to get it together or else I will lower my chance of being something good in life. As a junior, this year has already been hard and stressful as it is, so I really hope not to slack this semester. I am definitely worried about math this year, if I fail it then I have to retake it next year which I do not want to do.
fpayan says
Thank you Andy for your honesty and I believe in you to overcome math.
DeCarlo Sandoval says
The video shows how important slacking off in high school is, they even gave you the numbers on how your GPA needs to look like. Your GPA isn’t only a measure of how likely you are to get into college but it measures how likely you are to graduate college. Kids bullied are often put to a disadvantage because they tend to miss more school.
fpayan says
Super answer and writing.
Alejandro Aguilar says
They are saying that it is probably not a good idea to not graduate high school. It also matters what GPA you had in high school, you are able to see what are your possibilities on graduating College based on your high school GPA.The highest percent that a person can have to graduate college is 77.3% and that is if you GPA in high school was 3.5-4.0.
fpayan says
Excellent analysis and answer.
Diego Guzman says
Bullying apparently affects the way people work in high school since some students could be not showing up at school since they are trying to avoid being bullyed. But not only that some students slack off because they might not care about getting to a college or graduating from a highshcool. Over all these problems will affect through the future since they won’t be making alot of money as they should be or want to make.
fpayan says
Nice work and writing. You carefully thought out your answer.
Sophia Murguia says
I can relate to this video because I slacked off my first year in high school. I slacked off the first semester of my second year and now i’m missing 60 credits. It’s not a good feeling to know that you’re missing so many credits and my worst fear is not being able to graduate with my class. Because of my actions, I now have to work until the very last second I have. So don’t slack off in high school because you’re going to regret it like I did.
fpayan says
Thank you for your honesty. Your answer is an example to other students.
Natalia Avila says
the video really showed me that slacking off in high school and affect my life in the future. Such as if having a low gpa then it’ll affect my collage gpa because obviously if i slack off in high school then that would happen in collage as well. so this video told me to stay on top of things inhigh school if i want a great future.
fpayan says
Superior answer and writing keep moving forward.
Kevin Holloway says
Slack of High school students going to college and graduating college. If you have a 3.5 GPA and up you have a 75% chance of graduating college and for 3.0 and up it a 55% chance of graduating. However if you have a 3.0 and below your chances are very slim.
fpayan says
Awesome answer and detailed writing.
kenia lopez says
My feedback for this viedo is that is that it help me that GPA is very important I knew that but I didn’t know it was that important. Also that if I have a 3.5 and higher i would finish college around 6 years of enrollment.soi have to put all my effort on school and not let myself bring my grades down.
fpayan says
Superior answer and commitment.

Miya Russell says
Not having a high GPA jeopardizes your chance of entering or even graduating college. Also, by having a BA you can earn about $1 million dollars over a 40-year career, versus not graduating from college or reaping its rewards. However, its amazing how bullied kids have lower test scores because of excessive absences to avoid bullies, therefore leading to being behind in class. Overall, it’s imperative to excel in high school because your career is sacrificed through your decisions.
fpayan says
Outstanding answer with superior word usage.
Anthony says
This video made me learn new things that i didnt know about and that is great. One thing that i didnt know about and this video showed me was that most of the kids that got bullied they scored high in there test. Kids that bullied other kids didnt do that well on their test and they didnt have good grades.
fpayan says
Super answer with detail.

The video is taking about how your GPA can predicted what is the percent of you getting your bachelor’s degree. The video was also taking about how its important to not slack of in high school and how your GPA will follow you for the rest of your life. The video was also taking about how students who get bullied tend to have bad grades.

fpayan says
Very cool no slacker attitude.
Kimberly Flores says
I was surprised on what I saw. I learned some new information like how bullied students score 8-10 lower points than those who don’t get bullied. It was an interesting video and new to me, because I don’t watch these kinds of videos.

Excellent videos related to college and career will be presented to you.
Justin Marroquin says
If you have a good GPA you may actually graduate from college and get your BA in like the span of 6 years. They said that your GPA would affect you your whole life. Kids that get bullied have lower test scores.
Mario says
This video made me think about how people that got bullied have a better life in the future because they worked hard in highschool. And the ones that were the bullies usually do not have a succesful career as the ones that got bullied.
fpayan says
Super answer with detail.
Brandon Azzato says
The video is good and is very interesting to me. I didn’t know that students that get bullied score 8-10 points lower on tests than those who don’t get bullied. Also, I didn’t even know students with a higher GPA than other students have a higher percentage of staying enrolled in college to get their bachelors degree as well.
fpayan says
Outstanding writing with detail.
lilah Lemus says
I think this video was great! It informed about the percentage of students get bullied and how it affects them. I am now more aware about the impact it has on a person. More people should be aware too,it can help a lot of people with one simple change.
fpayan says
Excellent writing with detail.
Roque says
This video made me learned that people who got bullied have a better life in the future. It was talking on how we can get our GPA to were we want it to be. not to miss school as much cause on a quiz there is a lot a chance of getting a lower grade.
fpayan says
Impressive writing with detail.
Carissa Cabrera says
After watching the following video, its obvious that bullying does affect a student, not just emotionally but mentally. As the video says that kids who are bullied, score lower test scores than those who are bullied which makes sense because they aren’t focusing on the things being presented to them when they are worrying about a bully whos bothering them.
fpayan says
Solid detailed answer.
Patrick says
Video was good it educated me with good facts. Planned to not be a slacker and pursue my dreams.
fpayan says
Thats right pursue your dreams.
Issac Banuelos says
The video was entertaining
fpayan says
Be specific provide examples of how the video was entertaining.
Issac Banuelos says
I’d like to add on how this video was entertaining in a way where I learned things on this video that I hadn’t known in high school like how our GPA predict our college level. I also liked how she used a simile (snowball) to describe how our 4 years in high school. After her informing us on how high school basically decides our future I actually feel motivated to do better in my last semester and next three years. Everybody has a choice for their future and i chose not to be a slacker.
emmanuel says
i believe that people with a college education have better and more successful life than people with a high school education but at the same time people in high school know weather or not they want to go to college or not and some people that didn’t go to college still can be successful
fpayan says
Very true solid answer.
Isaiah Ayala says
Having a high GPA is important because it helps you get into a 6 year college and more likely to graduate. Some people believe that the reason that they don’t have high GPA is because of excessive bullying that happens upon students.
fpayan says
Outstanding detailed answer.
Chris DeCasas says
Statistics are nothing but a number . I don’t agree with these reporters . Whether or not how bad you did in high school should not describe how much money you will make .
fpayan says
Thats right Chris total confidence.
Alan Delgado says
The video was very informative and i learned a lot from it but, as a freshman i know i will graduate high school and college. i wont let people bring me down to their level!
fpayan says
Ok Alan I have my trust you can graduate high school and college.
Martin Zamarripa says
Unfortunately bullying will never be eradicated but it should be significantly reduced. It’s almost crazy that a piece of paper that is worth millions could turn into a paper that is trivial, depending on the GPA of an individual. Bullying does more harm than good and does not build character.
fpayan says
Outstanding answer and word usage.
jonathan perez says
Many kids get bullied at school and that affects them from having good grades. In college someone with a high GPA is more likely to graduate from college then other people who get bullied .
fpayan says
Great answer and work.
Bryan Juarez says
This was pretty interesting because these are statistics proved to be true. The only thing is that they’re just numbers and don’t prove anything. You can be a C student in High School and still be able to have a successful time in College. There has also been High school and College dropouts who become millionaires and billionaires. It’s all mental game of who wants it more in this life.
fpayan says
Yeah my friend Art Lewin is a successful business man without a college degree then there is my favorite Steve Jobs co-founder of Apple.
Sabrina Gonzalez says
Depending on how you did in high school shouldn’t really determine how the rest of your life goes. I agree that being bullied does affect how often you come to school, it depends the extent of how bad you were bullied, but it really shouldn’t. High school is just a small part of your life of when you were an adolescent, it shouldn’t judge how much you will make in your future.
fpayan says
Well written points like I said high school does not determine your life.
Isabella Mendoza says
I think this is an important video because it basically talks about how important your education. For instance, those people who go to school everyday and have good grades have a more chance of getting a better education compared to those who slack more in school. People need to realize that high school isn’t a joke, your education is more important and your life begins.
fpayan says
Outstanding answer 100% on the dot.
Teresita Wenzell says
I found this video useful for people who are “slackers” in high school and hope to go to college, however, it did not appeal to me because I am not one of those people who take grades lightly and would rather have fun in high school than do their work. The video also contained a segment on bullying and how victims of bullying tend to do bad in school, but I do not think that it makes as big a difference in a students GPA as they make it sound.
fpayan says
Happy to know there are NO slackers in my classes.
Anthony Refuerzo says
The video shows that people who have lower grades in high school have a lower chance of getting their bachelor’s degree than those who have better a better GPA. This can affect their future careers negatively. Being bullied can be a factor in how well you do in school assignments.
Frida Tavira says
I think the video is important. I feel like many people assume that high school GPA only affects high school but that’s untrue. The video shares that GPA is indeed important in college. Its very helpful.
fpayan says
True I am glad you viewed the video. I want these videos to help you.
Shekhar Basnet says
GPA is very important for High School students because it shows the talent and behavior of every student in every subject. It also help students to find our their best and suitable college which will help them to make a successful career.
fpayan says
I can tell you are college bound. Super work.
Dennia Alvarado says
I think what the video says about your highschool GPA catching up to you in college is true. I also agree on the part where it talks about bullying and how that affects your work in school. Most of the time when someone is bullied they tend to shut down and they end up not learning anything. Some colleges dont accept students if they dont have the GPA they are looking for.
emmanuel says
i think that this video was really something. It is true that kids get bullied and they don’t wanna come to school to avoid the people that are bullying you. That shouldn’t effect them that should motivate them to do better and prove them wrong. Prove that even if they break you down that you are strong enough to pick yourself up and press on in school and in life. That’s what i think about this video
fpayan says

Jennifer says
This is what I believe, Students who are bullied do have a lower GPA and it makes sense. Who would go to a school where they feel unsafe? No one. However, you can’t just determine someone’s performance at college. Simply because they have a low GPA from High school should not determine why they can’t graduate from college. Don’t define that as their possibility of becoming successful. Those types of comments makes them doubt themselves.
Paulina Gutierrez says
This video discusses how ones high school GPA impacts a person’s life. Saying there is data of a GPA determining if one even graduates and goes to college. Such pieces of paper are valuable because it determines the amount of pay one will get per hour in the future.
Sadly there are kids who get bullied in high school, and because of bulling, the data shows of GPA’s lowering. These children miss out on school to avoid the bullies. It is unfair how ones wrong doing of actions impacts ones GPA.
Since GPA “determines” of how one will go about in the future, something must be done.
What is going to be done to help the kids who are getting bullied to keep them from falling behind?
Joshua Banks says
After watching the video, I should stop slacking off and study on math for an hour. An start reading a chapter on a book everyday. An if I get a low GPA I will have a low change of passing college. So I got to work hard to make my GPA higher.
fpayan says
Awesome Joshua I know you can do it.
Brandon Azzato says
I can relate to this video a lot because you have to stay on top of things when you are in school and especially high school. I try not to have a low GPA as well and try not to slack off. I will continue to try to get a high GPA so colleges can look at me and hopefully I can get a scholarship, and have a bright future for myself.
Lilah says
After viewing this video, I learned about how much your GPA effects you and if I get a Better GPA I have a way better chance of getting into a college, I also learned you should always stay on task, because hard work does pay off.
fpayan says
That is correct be patient and persistent.
Lilah says

Carissa Cabrera says
How well you do in high school has a huge impact on your future, wether it be with grades, praticipation, or sports, it all could determine how much “help” you get in the future. All the things you do in college can lead to a scholarship, which is big espically if going to college is a big deal for you. You must do well in school with your GPA and sports because both can lead to a scholorship, and if you do both, the more your scholarships add up, the more money you make, and the higher chance you have to getting into college.
joseph lazaro says

This video is very important because It teaches me, and many other students how effective school is, and how much of an impact it has on us, and our life.
AN says
This video highlights the importance, not of a high school education necessarily, but the importance of graduating high school with a GPA and other factors that are commonly acknowledged as defining a successful student. That success will have immense impact later in life with defining events such as college and grad school.
fpayan says
Impressive answer on GPA and the connection to college success.
Flor Peraza says
This video shows very interesting information. I think students who slacked off on high school are more likely to do it in college if they are not motivated enough. Personally, I’ve seen many examples of this. I also think it depends on the person, if the student doesn’t like the major, then they won’t put much effort on it. That’s why it’s very important to provide vocational guidance to high school students in order to help them in the search of a major that will fulfill their expectatives and eventually it will give them a degree.
karen morales says
This video is about how important your highschool GPA is and how it can follow you through life and without a GPA you wont get as much money as you would by getting one. Some people who didnt have a GPA were bullied or slacked off. i found this video intresting because it gave me lots of imformation on how important your highschool GPA is.
jazzghoul7256 says
It’s important to go and finish high school for your GPA and high school diploma so you can have a bright, easy future. Getting your GPA would be great to have for when you apply for a job.
