    • Study after study has shown a yawning educational achievement gap between the poorest and wealthiest children in America.

    • concluded the United States could ultimately enrich everybody by improving educational performance for the typical student.

    • That could lead to roughly $900 billion in higher government revenue, more than making up for the cost of such an effort.

    • the United States’ gross domestic product would rise by an additional 6.7 percent, a cumulative increase of $10 trillion (after taking inflation into account) by the year 2050, the report estimated.

    • In the three decades that followed the end of World War II, almost all Americans, no matter where they fell on the earnings scale, enjoyed at least a doubling of their real incomes.

    • Mr. Lynch explained, is to show that the added cost of improving educational achievement at the bottom would be more than made up for by the rise in economic output and tax revenue.

    • Lifetime earnings of the poorest quarter would jump by 22 percent in this event.

    • An analysis by the O.E.C.D. released last fall showed that the United States greatly lagged nearly every advanced industrial nation on measures of educational equality.

I believe that if school wasn’t such an expensive luxury we would be having more people going to college and school in general. it is unfair how not only how expensive college is but also private schools and even some public schools.Plus more people going to school means more educated people in the world and that could definitely greatly impact society.

I think a proper education is not worth anything. It should be free with no cost. Many after HS don’ go to colleges because of the tuition, although there are scholarship, many of us aren’t lucky and aren’t able to go. If we had everyone go to college I feel that the country would be better economically

i think that colleges shouldnt charge for a tuition.Students out of high school are very confused about their goals in life.students may enroll in college and then drop out because they figured out what to do,but then this leaves the students with a huge debt that they will struggle for a while.

I think education cost should be reduced down because of many conflicts of debt. Many students lose hope in paying for college that it decreases the of people returning college.

I believe that college shouldn’t be so expensive and that is why many have struggles to even go to college. That is also the #1 problem money. It also causes stress.

Education is key! If not people would have been on the street looking for food, clothing, and much more. In my point of view people think school is a waste of time but its not. If you want a job that pays good money you need to go to school. That is my comment of the week thank you and have a nice day.

School shouldn’t be so expensive. Society is complaining that there are a lot of kids and adults not going to school. Then again there are so many people that work and earn very little money.

So many businesses would be prospering if degrees were needed because the most famous and excelling producers and business men did not even finish high school. Yes school is good for learning a few things that we didnt know but degrees just put a non existent obstacle t those who are harder learners.
